The 5 Most Exciting Car Races Around the World

Apart from sports like football, basketball, cricket, ice hockey, baseball and others that people bet on with fun offers like the Karamba Bonus Code for example, there are popular sports which many are not familiar with. Well, many would be a wrong word, seeing that a lot of people follow motorsports, yet compared to football and other ball sports, they are a lot fewer in number. This is why most people will not know which are the most exciting car races in the world, car being a somewhat loose term, defining a vehicle on four wheels.

The Monaco Grand Prix

This is one of the most prestigious races in Formula 1, cherished by racers and fans alike. It takes place in Monaco, the city of Monte Carlo. It is a long race track, winding and interesting, meaning that fans can only see a part of it at the same time. In that sense, it is very similar to other Formula 1 race tracks. It was built in 1929 and it has been used since that year, annually. There are other very popular Formula 1 race tracks and races, but this one is often rated as the most popular.

Indianapolis 500

Often referred to as the Indy500, the Indianapolis 500 is a race which takes place on Memorial Day Weekend, on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The race was founded in 1911, only two years after the Speedway was opened. The race is a part of the IndyCar Series, a prestigious form of open-wheel racing in the United States. The race itself is a spectacle, 200 laps around the Speedway, making a total of 500 miles, hence the name. If you want to watch a fast and long race, then this is the one to watch.

Daytona 500

This is another 500 mile race, but this time in Daytona Beach, Florida. The race takes place at the Daytona International Speedway, which was opened in 1959, the same year the race was founded. It is a NASCAR race, which means stock car racing. A lot of people love watching NASCAR because albeit fast, it is more relatable to the everyday driver, given that they (often) race with stock cars. This race, like the Indy500, is a 200 lap race, but in a completely different type of auto racing.

Monte Carlo Rally

Everybody loves a good rally race. They are often technical, fast and in different conditions. The Monte Carlo Rally was founded in 1911 and is one of the most popular races in the world. It has everything, from dry tarmac to wet asphalt, dirt, mud, snow and even ice, depending on the stage of the race. The race has multiple stages and sometimes, a single stage can be more challenging than all of them together, due to varying conditions.

Dakar Rally

This is an interesting, but often polarizing event. It is dangerous, as in, people sometimes don’t come back alive after a race. It is a rally as tough as they get, with multiple vehicle types from off road vehicles, to trucks, motorbikes and even stock cars. The race was initially held in France and countries leading to Senegal, but since 2009, due to lethal dangers in Mauritania, it was held in South America, until 2019. The 2020 edition was held in Saudi Arabia. It is a two-week long event, exciting and dangerous as it is.

These are the 5 most exciting races in the world. There are more, but, to each their own type of excitement.
